2025 Series 02
#1
TRHL Owners,

Series 01 has been completed. League file attached.

Heh ... it happened again!
NOTE - Injuries for some reason were turned OFF for the first series. I don't know why that setting was changed. It is now back to using player ratings. Ah, I remember now, injuries are turned off now for the postseasons. So I need to remember to enable it in the offseasons!

And again!
NOTE - I neglected to change all catchers' injury ratings that are Very Prone and Prone to Normal. I just did this.

Rules to remember:
1. Yes DH in NL (and of course the AL).
2. Three-batter minimum rule (or end of inning) for RP.
3. Four teams from each league advance to postseason.
4. 26-man active rosters.
5. Yes to no-pitch IBB.
6. Using replacement-level system in September.
7. 10-day IL.

Results not submitted:

First half: None!

Second half:
Chinooks @ Canons

(*) - Backup results submitted
(**) - Notified in advance
*** - Ownerless team

Automatic farmings due to overuse: None!

Transactions:
1. Retreivers sign Shane Bieber and Garrett Hampson.
2. Anunnaki sign JT Brubaker.

Injuries (> 3 days):
None - see NOTE above. Injuries enabled now.

Away team MPs ready for Series 02: Hen House, Clowns

Deadlines - 1st half deadline for first three games is Saturday, March 28th, 10 PM EDT. Deadline for 2nd half is Tuesday, March 31st, 10 PM EDT.

Series 02 league file has been posted and the League File link on the website has been updated.

A painful start to the series as Judge, after going 3-4 with a HR, was injured for nine days and Bo Bichette hit a two out two run HR in the bottom of the ninth and Portland went on to win it 4-3 in the tenth.  Game two was not much better as the NRIs got eight off of Keider Montero and won it 8-4.   In the finale,  the Rogers took another hit to their outfield as Jasson Domingues got hurt for 8 games,  however,  Ben Brown continued his impersonation of a real pitcher as he threw 5 1/3 shutout innings to get the win and run his scoreless streak to 11 1/3.

For Portland at Rocket, let the computer manager pick the starting pitchers, please use the following llineups:

Anderson - 6
Gray - 4
Wacha - 7

Wagstaffs use up week's worth of offense to take the final three versus the Red Knots, but they also lose a catcher in the first game.

The Retrievers take 2/3 at home. Turner got hurt.  There were two 13 inning games. In the last one it looked to me like the Raineers ran out of relievers. When the computer brought in Cameron to pitch it looked like all the relievers were tired so I did not do anything. Hopefully he can still pitch in his rotation spot with the off day ahead.

Three close and thrilling games, Rogers taking the first two by one run.

In the bottom of the 9th of the third game the Rogers were down by one run with men on the corners and Joc up. Not liking the matchup at the plate the Rogers elected to attempt a steal of home with namesake Kobe Clemens. Safe! Rogers tie the game but go on to lose in extras.
