Game 1 - Alvarez gets the Whitecaps off to a flying start with a 2 run homer in the first, but it is pretty much all downhill for them from that point. UCity gets 17 men on base in the first 4 innings, and cruises to a 12-5 win. Game 2 - Reynolds and Castellanos go deep in the second and that is all Olson needs, as he takes a shutout into the 8th in an eventual 8-1 Anunnaki win. Game 3 - Peralta and Matz turn back the clock to 1968 and match each other scoreless frame for scoreless frame (Matz being helped out by inducing 4 GIPD from the Halifax bats.) The turning point was probably Peralta getting hurt (and missing the next two weeks) in the bottom of the 8th. Will Vest gets out of that frame, but allows a single, double, and then a walk-off jack to Castellanos as the home team gets the sweep, 3-0.
