Series 11 has been completed. Seemed to go smoothly. Knock on wood. I may have messed up the current series on the main page ... should say Series 12 (not 11) I think.

So I sent emails about this--the wrong player was signed for Halifax in the league file--but they got lost. At this point I want Billy/Escondido to be able to play, so I am going to post an MP using the current roster. I am going to ask that Lucas Gilbreath be replaced with Chad Kuhl on NEXT series' league file. I won't need Kuhl this series.

Canons take two of three in the first half. Rotisserie wins the first game off a Buehler CGSO, in IIRC 97 pitches. But Canons won a closeish Game Two, with Rotisserie coming within a base hit of a great comeback, but Game Three was not very close as the Canons run away with it.

NRI at McCallions - Ryan Jones - 08-02-2022
Game 1: Manoah takes a 2-0 lead into the ninth, and the NRI manager elects to give him the shot at the shutout. But Vlad the Junior has other ideas, and blasts a two run shot with two outs to tie it up, and then Semien walks it off in the bottom of the 10th with a solo shot of his own off of Romano, for a 3-2 McCallions victory.
Game 2: This looks like it's going to be a laugher, as the McCallions are up 7-1 after four, but the NRI have other ideas, as they put up seven in the top of the fifth to take the lead. From then, it's back and forth, with the McCallions getting the final out when the NRI have two runners on in the ninth, for a 12-10 McCallions win.
Game 3: More offensive madness, as the McCallions score five in the 8th to take a 12-8 lead, and then watches in fear as their exhausted bullpen barely holds on for a 12-11 win.
Both teams will be happy not to see each other again for a while.
