Game 4: Both Nova and Sabathia started out shaky, but the Breakers used three homers to earn a 5-3 win. Game 5: Robbie Erlin nearly went the distance in outdueling Stephen Matz 3-1. Game 6: The Breakers routed Jhoulys Chacin and a slew of relievers 11-5 to sweep the home half. Kyle Schwarber hit two homers and drove in five.

The Breakers signed its only LTC back in 2008. We hope Lindor's contract will turn out better.

The Whitecaps have not submitted a home series in some time, so I played a backup and had the great pleasure of being swept for the second straight time by a sub-.500 team without a manager. It does not bode well for a long run in the playoffs.
