1. HawkRocks sign Josh Thole, release Deven Marrero. I took the liberty to keep Thole on active roster and farm 26-PA Hedges, based on conversations I had with Joe when he asked about a backup catcher.

MP Issues:
1. Sledgehammers have 24 on active roster. Need 25 exactly. I promoted Rua since tied for highest OPS for non-catcher position player on the farm, plus has ratings at multiple positions.

MPs ready for Series 04: Whitecaps, Clowns, and Canons (though Phil might have time upon his return to update it).

Visiting team MP deadline is Tuesday, April 18th, 10 AM EDT. Series results are due Wednesday, April 19th, 10 PM EDT.

Current rotation is set as Verlander/Hill/Bumgarner in the expectation that you'll go Feldman/Quintana/Finegan. I want to make sure Bumgarner starts vs a LHP, and if you're starting more than 1 in the series I'd prefer it not be Quintana. So if your rotation is different than what I'm expecting, slot Bumgarner in against the appropriate starter ahead of time and fill in the other spots in the rotation with Verlander first and then Hill, that should take care of things.

CM can handle lineups in the Verlander and Hill games. In the Bumgarner start, please bump both Taylor and Bumgarner up one spot (so 7th/8th) and bat Crawford 9th.

The only change to my MP is that Ray is on the DL, and Miranda has been called up, but that won't affect this series.

Not looking forward to facing Baum and Verlander. Haven't lost a home series yet. Hope this isn't the one to break that streak.

Clowns starting pitcher gets injured in two of the games, with Joe Ross going down for 40! days.

BDM runs the win streak to 8, winning 19-1 (In the home opener Mattingly totals 8 HRs, 4 by Mark Trumbo, and 3 by Manny Machado), and 2-0, and is 2 outs from the sweep when the Topes rally for 3 runs off Trevor Cahil and Wade Davis to go ahead 5-4. BDM loads the bases with 2 out against Zach Britton in the bottom half, but can't convert.

BDM takes 2 of 3.

Portland takes 2 of 3. Fowler injured for 27 games

Crescent Beach has its first good series of the season, sweeping Maine.

Whoops. Nearly missed the deadline.

Real impressive team there, but I still managed to take the series 2-1. Verlander vs. Feldman ended 2-1. Good game. Quintana v Hill was 4-2. The rubber game was especially good, going 13 innings. In Finnegan vs. Baum, it's Brandon w/ two doubles and two runs, and Madison strikes out w/ the bases loaded. I still lose, but good game. Josh Donaldson with the bases loaded was a big part of that. Four runs part of that. Final of 7-5 in 13.

Visitors take the first, home squad rallies to capture the next two.
