"-X" from players on the eight post-season teams except for those
players signed in September.

Whitecaps MP for our ALCS series vs the Pale Hose. Two changes. Dozier comes in for Janish, and Vincent in for Below.

For the fourth time in five years, the Halifax Whitecaps have won the TRHL American League pennant and will go to the World Series, after a 4-0 sweep of the Maine Pale Hose. Reports to follow later.

Game 1: Darvish gets knocked out early again and the FireDogs take a 5-2 lead into the 6th as it looks like the Outlaws offensive drought at Coors will continue. Outlaws then put up a 5-spot paced by a Ruf triple and Gonzalez' tie-breaking double on their way to a 9-5 win.

Game 2: Pujols hits his 2nd 1st inning HR of the series, and the teams trade punches on their way to a 5-5 tie after 7.5 before the Outlaws again put up a 5-spot starting with a Johnson HR after he fails to get down a bunt for base hit attempt and capped by a Lucroy 3-run HR. With the game well in hand, NLDS MVP Shields comes on to close things out in the 9th, but exits after loading the bases while getting just one out. Hoover comes in to bail him out having allowed just 3 runs in 35 regular season innings gives up four hits himself while blowing the save and getting only one more out. Cesar Ramos finally gets the Outlaws out of it tied at 10. Extra innings highlights include Derek Jeter getting picked off in the 10th after leading off the inning with a single, and both teams getting the winning run to 3rd once before Jesus Guzman takes Cole De Vries deep with 2 outs in the bottom of the 12th.

Game 3: Pujols waits until the 5th to homer in this one, but then adds another in the 7th as the FireDogs take a 6-4 lead to the top of the 8th. A Pagan walk is followed up by a Ciriaco HR to tie the game at 6. In the bottom of the 8th, Ruben Tejada gets thrown out stealing 2nd after leading off with a single. A Lucroy single and Cano double get runners to 2nd and 3rd with no one out in the top of the 9th, and while the FireDogs manage to get one out, singles from Keppinger and Gonzalez plate 2 more runs and Hoover manages to close down the 9th for an 8-6 Outlaws win.

Game 4: Pujols fails to homer for a change, but the Outlaws bats don't show up either and the FireDogs take a 3-1 lead into the 8th. The Outlaws get the tying run on in the 8th and up to bat in the 9th but can't plate anyone and lose 3-1.

Game 5: Pujols hits another 2-run shot in the first, giving him 5 HR and 11 RBI for the series, but the lead is short-lived as FireDogs starter Fiers gets yanked in the 3rd and reliever Horst walks Pagan and Kratz to force in the go-ahead run. A Jaso HR in the 4th makes it 4-4. In the 5th Seager and Venable go down quietly, but then Pagan hits his 2nd double of the game, and third of the series. Kratz is intentionally walked, bringing up Neftali Feliz, who the Outlaws allow to bat to save a tired bullpen. A Jaso PB moves the runners to 2nd and 3rd, and on the next pitch Pagan takes advantage of Horst's left-handedness and pulls off the straight steal of home for the go ahead run. Feliz and 3 relievers manage to shut down the FireDogs the rest of the way en route to a 6-4 Outlaws win, sending the Outlaws to the TRHL World Series to face the Whitecaps.

Series MVP Angel Pagan went 7-20 with 3 2B, 4 BB, and 6 SB (out of a team 12). Albert Pujols slashed 391/417/1043 to pace the FireDogs attack.
