G1: This game was the Russell Martin show as he clubbed two 3-run homers to lead Zimmermann and the Canadians to a series-opening 7-2 victory. Not great defense as both teams had 2 errors.

G2: This game was the Ryan Dempster show as he struck out 10 in the first 7+ innings, not allowing a run, and leading 2-0, until BJ Upton comes up with a man on and two away in the 8th. Upton promptly deposits Dempster's 2-1 pitch into the left field bleachers for a 2-run shot, tying the game at two. The game would stay tied at two for another eight innings. In the bottom of the 16th, the Canadians put 3 singles together to steal a win in extras, 3-2. Canadians were able to tack on 3 more errors.

G3: This game, once again, belonged to the Canadians, especially their pitching. The Canadians' pitchers (Britton and Belisario) gave up only 6 hits and no runs. Donaldson lead the offense with 4 RBI, including a big 3-run HR in the first off of Sabathia. The Canadians would tack on 3 more to go on to win 7-0 and sweep the series. Canadians had 1 more error and a total of 6 in the series. Luckily some clutch hitting and solid pitching picked up the lazy defense.

Game 1: Glovers win 7-5 in extra innings, on a three run homer from Dunn
Game 2: Glovers hold off a late rally to win 8-7
Game 3: Detwiler gets hurt in the top of the second, and Karstens comes on to throw 7 shutout innings in relief. Glovers win 2-0, with those runs coming on back to back homers from Castro and Lopez in the bottom of the first.

In a series of well-matched teams in which the scores don't tell the story, Whitecaps take 2 of 3 from Wolverines.

Game 1: Wolverines come from behind to win 9-5 as the Whitecaps pen gives up a couple of big innings.

Game 2: Two crucial errors by SS Hairston and an infield hit all in the same inning undo the Wolverines as the Whitecaps win 6-4.

Game 3: a single mistake by Colon (complete game loss) results in a 3-run HR to Bautista, allowing the Whitecaps to take the rubber game, 3-0, behind a terrific performance by Morrow, Simon and Janssen.
