The 2013 regular season has been completed.

The Terriers and Whitecaps tied for first in the Iron Horse Division in the AL. Both advance to the post-season. But to determine seeding, their HTH record is used. I have the Whitecaps with a 12-6 advantage over the Terriers, thus they are the #2 seed while the Terriers are the #3 seed.

So the AL looks like:

(3) Terriers @ (2) Whitecaps

In the NL, it's mayhem. The Clowns, Marauders, and Being Don Mattingly tied at 95 wins, but only two can advance as Wild Cards.

After a discussion with Chris, Arthur, and Eric, we decided that the tie-breaker rules listed in the Constitution fwas illogical for three teams tied for two Wild Card spots. The first tie-breaker was to be our intra-division records, which does not make sense given we play different intra-division schedules. So we went with head-to-head records and used the MLB tie-breaker system as our guide. The result was the following.

Due to head-to-head records, the Maruaders received first choice, BDM second, and the Clowns had to settle for what remained. Our choices were: A vs. B, winner of A vs. B is a Wild Card team. Loser of A vs. B. then plays C.. The winner of that second game is also a Wild Card team.

Chris chose A, Arthur and Eric, B., and I was stuck with C. It will be B @ A for the first game, and C @ A/B for the second game.

These will be considered regular season games, and as such, playing time limitiations still apply!

The LDS will be postponed one day while these games are played. The LDS will now start on Wednesday.
