Brockton pulls out rubber game to cool down hot Rogers. Home for next series hoping to continue improved play.

McCallions get their best pitching performances of the year, on their way to an unlikely sweep of the Pale Hose.

I had a super awesome dramatic home series. Won Game One with two outs in the bottom of the ninth, with a three run PH HR from Rasmus, to take it 6-4. Won Game Two with three consecutive base hits to start the bottom of the ninth and win 6-5 (Game winner being a Stephen Vogt PH single to drive in two). Won Game Three as Gsellmen pitched seven innings of no run ball, and then my bullpen did what it does, and a 2-0 victory completed the sweep.

But then I didn't export my results before installing a different league, and all that went bye-bye.

So instead, we went 1-2.

Made it close in Game One. Tagged Goody for a blown save, but Brian Shaw let me down,as a pair of doubles from Betts and Freemen plus a pair of singles scored a couple runs in the ninth, and the Rotisserie was unable to capture our earlier magic, as the game ends with Vogt grounding out to second. 4-3 Marauders.

Won Game Two 5-3. Cotton pitched well, and though the Marauders kept it close, Hosmer's sixth inning home run, and some seventh inning small ball, put us out in front for good.

Marauders took the series by winning Game Three 6-3. Archer went seven, giving up two earned, three total, but Gsellmen was more himself, surrendering five runs in six innings. Rafael Montero managed to make it three innings with just one run, which is great for him, but the home team bats couldn't get us back in the game against Solis and Edwards.
