Ottowa @ Allston

Sale vs Latos goes to extra Frames 3-3. Bethancourt 2b in Pearce in 11th Allston 4 Ottowa 3

game two both Colon and Fister gone early as teams combine for 14 runs in first two innings. Allston hangs on to early 8-6 lead as pens only allow 2 runs each over last 7. Allston 10 Ottowa 8

game three, Ottowa strikes early vs deGrom as Cruz caps 4 run first with 2rHR. Allston gets a pair of Keenedy in bottom one and draws even at 5 in the fifth, but Mauer rbi double and some errors put 3 on board for Widings in top 8th and they hold it for win. Ottowa 8 Allston 5.

Game One: Hares get 15 hits but leave 12 on base and hit into three double plays while Pujols hits two homeruns and Arcia another as the Canons win 6-4.

Game Two: Matt Belisle brings an unlikely shutout into the ninth as the Hares win 5-1.

Game Three: Matchup between Cy Young candidates Johnny Cueto and Clayton Kershaw both sporting 8-2 records. Kershaw goes five scoreless innings while Cueto gives up homeruns to Arcia and Kinsler. In the sixth, however, with the Canons leading 4-0, the Hares score four off of Kershaw on a walk and four hits. They add another in the seventh and eighth to win 6-4. Cueto goes seven innings to go 9-2. Kershaw gets no decision.

Pirates take 2 of 3.

Mattingly Sledgehammers results

Isotopes take 2 of 3 from Rogers.

Aces take 2 of 3 ... no significant injuries.

... and above .500 for the first time in what seems like a long time. Weird series. Burlington got out to the lead in all three games, outscoring the Chinook 7-1 in innings 1-5. But Chinook outscored FireDogs 16-3 in the rest of the innings. Jose Uribe had a nice series w/ 6 RBI.

Crescent Beach threatened to sweep until a late-inning bullpen meltdown handed the last game to Higglytown.
