Canadians get a much needed sweep, after previously being swept in a tough series against Halifax, to keep some separation in the wild-card race.

Wolverines hold Limericks to 2 runs in the series, but that is enough for the Limericks to take 1 game, winning the finale, 1-0, after the Wolverines take the first 2 games.

Game 1: Cliff Lee throws 7 effective innings for the Chinook, and Detwiler gets shelled again for the Glovers. Chinook win 10-3, and Detwiler drops to 0-9 on the season.

Game 2: Derek Holland throws a 2 hitter (0 BB, 8 K) for the Glovers, and manages to lose 1-0, with the only run coming on a homer in the first by Yadier Molina. Peavy throws 7 shutout innings, and the bullpen provides the rest for the Chinook.

Game 3: Dickey throws 8.1 shutout innings (with 13 K), as the Chinook win 3-0 to get the series sweep.
