Montreal scores two in the first inning but a Baez double evens the scores then a Gallo three-run homer puts the Canons ahead. Montreal cannot take the lead after that throughout the series despite 15 hits in game 2, leaving 12 runners on base.

Leake and bullpen combine for a shutout in game 3. No injuries,

Maine @ Higglytown
charles - May 30, 2018 06:41AM
Higgly Park hosted the local high school championship game and unfortunately the ground crew forgot to remove the temporary fences. Pitchers from both squads and were hammered resoundingly. Maine gets the better end of it, taking two.

Sledgehammers at McCallions
Ryan Jones - May 30, 2018 06:27PM
Game 1: A one sided beating, as Hamilton scores early, middle, and late, in an easy 13-6 win
Game 2: Lamet allows only 2 runs over eight innings, but Junis does better, throwing 8.2 shutout innings before departing with an injury. Kimbrel closes it out, to save a 2-0 Sledgehammer win
Game 3: Fiers nightmare season continues, as he allows 5 runs in five innings, while lowering his ERA. Gossett goes seven for the McCallions, allowing only one run, as Mississauga picks up a 6-1 win to avoid the sweep.

Sisskiyou Rotisserie - May 30, 2018 06:40PM
Heck of a series. Rotisserie won game one as Gsellman probably threw the game of his Rotisserie career, going seven and two thirds, giving up one run, on two hits, and a walk.

Game two was ugly. 12-5 final, as the Pirates trashed both Scott Feldman (who's a DMB favorite of mine after pitching some epic games), and R(afael?) Montero, each tagged for six runs, all earned. Feldman didn't walk anyone. Segura and Castellanos each homered for the visiting club, with Segura going 4-6, and scoring three runs.

Game Three was drama. Siskiyou wins on a walk off HR to lead off the bottom of the 9th by Hosmer, breaking a 4-4 tie. Nolasco was charged with the other four Rotisserie runs, all solo homers, from Rosario, Ralmuto, Hosmer, and Hechavarria. Giles, the lefty, took the loss, giving up one run, on one hit, in zero innings pitched. Quintana also gave up four, with only Morales via the longball. The Rotisserie bullpen did what we do best, and Moylan, Schugel, and Osuna, combined for no hits, no walks, and five strikeouts, over three innings.

In related news, teams in search of relief would do well to look to the Rotisserie. Having a good bullpen on a mediocre team is silly, and I've got a real nice bullpen going. Neshek, Schugel, Hader, Givens, Colome, Osuna, Moylan, Shaw, and even Ramos. Obviously not Walker Buehler, or Josh Hader, a least without a haul, and I'm pretty into Givens, but otherwise, I've got relief pitchers.

Also MP Ready for next series.
