Rotisserie Sweep!

Gsellman was the real shocker. I considered lifting him in the bottom of the inning when he came up to the plate with runners on and two outs. Instead he pitches seven innings, giving up one run, no walks, and five strikeouts, as the Rotisserie score six off Odorizzi, all earned, without getting an out in the second, and then the Wagstaffs gave up nine more runs of the visiting pen. The four errors committed by the visitors led to three of those runs. No Rotisserie batter had more than 3 RBI, or 1 HR, though Bogaerts collected five hits. Neshek closes it out for a 15-1 final.

Game Two was Chase Anderson versus... um... E... Ramirez. Rotisserie scored three in the bottom of the first, and added three more to win 6-3. About the only notable individual performance is Heyward with three RBI on two hits, including a HR. Good for him. Every starter deserves at least one day to be offensively relevant.

Game Three started with Wagstaff jumping out in front, with a Rizzo single, and a Drury double, making for a quick run, though Drury getting thrown out at third on the play didn't bode well for the visitors. Teams threw up zeroes for a few innings, before Siskiyou scored one each in the fifth and sixth, off a Rosario solo HR, and a couple of walks and a seeing-eye base-hit, from Heyward, Russell, and Pollock. Realmuto added a two run HR in the Seventh, then Heyward, Russel, and Pollock did it again. 5-1 Siskiyou.

This might be my first home sweep this season. We're feeling pretty good headed into the All-Star break.

Firedogs take 2 of 3 from Jaxx

Outlaws continue to enjoy home cooking in July, with 24 HR in 9 games. Matt Olson is 4 for 9 on the month, but all 4 hits have been HR, and Josh Donaldson has outhomered the opposition 10-9 so far in July, and appears to now be leading the league in RBI.

G1: turned on an 8th inning HR by Ben Gamel, his 4th hit on the night. Stroman CG. TBC 3-2.
G2: Bundy, Duensing, Soria combined for a shutout. TBC 4-0.
G3: Two HRs from Sir Didi. TBC 10-6.
