Something weird is going on with the Rogers' stats.

Bobby Abreu had 3 hits on April 4th and is 4-16 on the season according to my review of the box scores but the "team batting" report for the Rogers shows him at .105 (2-19).

Chris Singleton had 3 hits on April 2nd and is 5-14 on the season per the box scores but is showing as .111 (1-9).

Yelich is 15-40 per the box scores but .139 (5-36) on the team batting stats page.

Am I going crazy or do these really not add up?

The most recent series boxscores match up with his game log and the 5-36 line. Where are you getting the boxscores that show the 15-40 total? I'm just checking from the scheduled game page.

Ray DiPerna - April 04, 2015 10:27PM
Hi Bill, I checked from the scheduled game page too. I went through each date on the schedule and checked the boxscores... Ok, I must be missing something.
Re: Series 04
Ray DiPerna - April 04, 2015 10:29PM
Simple sanity check: Do you see the 3 hits for Abreu in the April 4th game? And then the "team batting" stats show him with only 2 hits on the season?
Re: Series 04
Bill Liming - April 04, 2015 10:32PM
No, the Apr 4 game in the league file I have has him 0-2.

Are you in more than one league? I've seen multiple boxscores get glommed together when league files were installed on top of each other, but that was a long time ago, too.

I know it won't format well, but here's the whole boxscore from that game. Is it completely different from what you see, or is there a discernible pattern in the errors?

Re: Series 04
Ray DiPerna - April 05, 2015 07:38AM
Yeah, that's a different box score than the one I see.

I'm not in another league, but I think I know the problem, based on what you say above about box scores glomming together: before I installed this league file I ran through a number of simulations of the entire season, letting the computer play all the games to see how my team was generally faring. And I never reset the season after doing so. So it's possible that when I installed the current league file it messed up the box scores.

Anyway, as the "Team Batting" stats page is consistent with what you see I'm going to assume there's no real problem. I'll try "resetting" the season before installing the next league file.

Thanks.
