Again, some rules of game play:

1. Do not play a series as the home team without first receiving a season start MP from the visiting team owner. Check the message board especially for posted MPs. After Series 01, please e-mail visiting owner if MP not listed as ready.
2. Always check the opposing team's rotation; pitchers should not start tired unless stated otherwise by manager.
3. Honor system here; do not restart games once they've started unless there is an obvious mistake discovered immediately upon starting (e.g., see #2 above, you accidentally let a tired pitcher start for opposing team)
4. You must have 25 active players at all time. No more. No less.

We are NOT taking a full week for this first series like we often do. I have a feeling we can go full steam ahead from the start.

Therefore, visiting team MP deadline is Friday, April 6th, 10 PM EDT, and series results are due Sunday, April 8th, 10 PM EDT.

Outlaws opening MP in the league file should be good.

Outlaws are going to start out the season with the pitcher batting 8th, so you'll need to load SP/lineups manually. Move starting P to 8th before loading the saved lineup (based on handedness) and it should all work (either C. Taylor or Cain will be batting 9th if you want to double-check).

SP for this series are Verlander, Dickey, Godley.

HAPLESS HALOS START BY GETTING SWEPT AT HOME.

Fun series, with the Hares winning two games in their last at-bat. In the opener Mike Trout hit a walk-off 2 run HR for the victory. In the rubber match, after the bullpen blew the lead to let it get tied, and after not scoring in the bottom of the ninth with men on 1st and 3rd with nobody out, and after giving up a solo HR in the top of the 10th, the Hares come back with two runs in the bottom of the 10th.

Starters should be Cashner, Kennedy, and Eickhoff. Please use the computer manager to pick lineups.

Firedogs take 2 of 3 from Canons.

Harrison drops 2 of 3 as they leave a small village on base in games 2 and 3, and Wade Davis blows a 2-1 lead in the 8th in G3. Higglytown wins in 12.

BDM MP NOT ready

Brockton loses the first game 4-2 to Chris Sale but scores 32 runs in the last two games to win 2 out of 3.

Thought we were gonna get slaughtered in this opening series, so 1-2 doesn't seem so bad. Made the first game close. Rubber game not so close.

Outlaws 5 - Rotisserie 4 Verlander threw eight, and Rotisserie scored twice in the ninth to bring the tying run to the plate, but Forsythe won out.

Rotisserie 5 - Outlaws 2 Hey, I won one! King Felix throws nine, as Dickey gives up five in five and two thirds.

Outlaws 8 - Rotisserie 1 Not so good. Home Runs for Kiermier and Smoak, and no Rotisserie pitcher escaped without giving up runs, with the Outlaws tacking on to their lead throughout the game.

Rotisserie MP is ready to go for Series 02.

Teheran (1-0) outduels Chacin (0-1) and the Terriers pen in a 6-4 Pale Hose win. Barraclough (1-0) and Terriers win a "bull pen" game as Baez (0-1) takes the loss in another 6-4 game. [Perdomo was injured for this game and 15 more days.] In the finale Schebler homered to right off of Uehara (0-1) in the 18th (his only hit in 7 ABs including 4 Ks) making Garcia (1-0) the winner in 8-7 thriller. Both bull pens were used heavily in this opening series.

I missed the Pirates' MP somehow, and round 2 goes much better for the Marauders, who sweep 3 close games with no injuries.
