A weird thing happened just now and I had a message disappear into moderation?

Anyhow, my question was about when a player is released outright mid-series like Portland did with Homer Bailey this series. Are we still following the rule that says he can't be signed until the next series, Series 10?

My assumption is we have to wait until he's posted as cut in the league file, and then bid the next period.

Everyone isn't loading every half-series as it's played. I know I'm not. I don't think we want that information disparity underlying add/drops.

Yeah, the trade that necessitated the release hasn't officially happened in the league file yet, either, I assume, so everything happens at the end of this second half of the series is what I'd expect.

Crescent Beach took the first two, then BDM pounded CC Sabathia in his Breaker swan song and won behind de Grom. Tony Kemp was injured for 14 days; I DLed him and promoted Span to keep the bench full.

Portland takes 2 out of 3. No injuries to report.

As his erstwhile owner, I'd like to point out that Homer's OPS has risen all the way to .781 which is still well under anything which he's done since 2014 (with the exception of the 2016 outlier when it was .816), so you might want to stop chomping at the bit with regards to claiming him.

Rogers are swept out to sea. Highlight was Bryce Harper throwing out two men at the plate in the same inning.

G1: Slugfest. TBC down 5-0 early but Carpenter GS sparks a big rally. TBC 14-9.
G2: Marquez, Grace, and Treinen combine for the shutout. Gallo 2-run double in 1st all needed. CCC 3-0.
G3: Chinook have to rally again and do so off of previously unscored upon Treinen. TBC 3-2.

Siskiyou with the correct series. At least we finally win some games, going 5-1 on the week, despite my series of awful starters. Daniel Norris does particularly well. Something like 8 IP 1 run.
