Portland wins opener 7-3 behind Beckham's 4-5, 2 HR effort evening Buckholz record (3-3) while LeBlanc (0-1) takes the loss. Former Hose sluggler Ortiz set the table with a 3 run blas in the 1st as the NRI went on to win 9-4 improving Estrada's record (7-1) and handing Deleon (0-1) his first loss. [Jose De Leon was injured for this game and 10 more days.] The Hose salvage one game as Baez 2 HR effort leads Holland (1-0) over Andriese (2-3) 6-3 in the finale.

French Terriers visit the well Boston (Allston) Terriers

Duffy and tijuan Walker hook up in tightly pitched game with Duffy only allowing Puig's solo HR in 4th during his six inning stint. French Terriers get one in fourth off Walker on Dickerson's solo jack, and add one in 5th on Benintendi RBI double, Pens take it to 9th when Puig ties it with his second solo of game. Terriers get a two out walk in bottom 10 and Healy boots a gb to set up Hill's walk off single.
Allston 3 Brockton 2.

Game two rookie Cotton faces off against Allston's Nolasco. Allston grabs lead in third on Correa's rbi single and adds one in 4th on Iglesias' solo HR. Nolasco rolls through 6th when he leaves with injury. Allston adds a pair on Hill's HR and pen holds the shutout til Benitendi's lead off blast in the 9th. Barraclough comes on to close it out
Allston 4 Brockton 1

Game three another strong start from both Pitchers as both pitchers are missing bats. Roark goes 7 allowing just 5 hits and no runs. Lance McCullers goes into the 9th allowing just 4 hits and a walk in his shutout bid. Benitendi's one out double brings on Barrclough who K's a pair to strand him. Bottom 9, Duda walks with one out, Granderson gets a free pass with two outs followed by a walk to Aaron HIll and Grinchuk lines walk off single to left for win.
Allston 1 Brockton 0

The misery deepens for Crescent Beach as they drop two at home.
