Series 24
Greg Tamer - June 09, 2016 10:35PM
TRHL Owners,

Series 23 has been completed.

Org reports have been updated.

Results not submitted:
Glovers @ Rabid Dogs
Pale Hose @ Breakers
Sledgehammers @ Whitecaps
Canons @ Dodgers

Note that in the Widings vs. Sledgehammers, Sale threw just 17 pitches in the 2nd game, then started the third game and won it, because the Widings' Estrada, the next pitcher in the rotation, was injured until the 21st of June (the off day before this upcoming series).

(*) - Backup results submitted
(**) - Notified in advance

If I overlooked results, please let me know ASAP.

Automatic farmings due to overuse:
1. Canons - Mikie Mahtook, Jankowski promoted.
2. Chinook - Wil Myers, Muncy promoted.
3. Pirates - Koji Uehara, Morales promoted.

Note that any changes by the file drone due to automatic farmings can be reverted for a different decision by the team, provided the correction occurs prior to the next series.

1. Outlaws sign Erik Goeddel, $2, release Jon Moscot.
2. Clowns sign Ryan Goins, $5.
3. Marauders sign Joey Butler, release Wilmer Difo.
4. Chinook trade Ken Giles to the Glovers for Ramon Cabrera and Alex Meyer.
5. Chinook release Max Muncy.

Injuries (> 3 days):

MP Issues:
1. Had to adjust the Glovers' rotation.
2. Sledgehammers had Jungmann twice in rotation. Added Liriano.

4. Breakers at 24; promoted Geltz.
5. Chinook at 22; promoted Franklin and Cabrera and Krol.

Marauders are idiots
ChrisC - June 10, 2016 10:58AM
Loaded the wrong league file, which meant not only did we have the wrong opponent but we're at home so don't have to post a MP anyhow.

Nothing to see here, move along, move along...

Game 1: Lance McCullers and Chris Archer have similar results in dramatically different fashion, as McCullers allows a single run through 7 innings on 6 hits and 0 walks while Archer hurls 5 scoreless innings by working around 4 hits and 5 walks thanks to 10 strikeouts. The Marauders take a 1-0 lead into the 7th when Mike Trout comes up with a man on and deposits the ball in the second deck. McCullers comes out to pitch the 8th but is pulled after a pair of singles; Starling Marte greets Michael Blazek with a RBI double, but the Marauders hold the runner on third with one out and then fail to bring him home to leave the score tied at 2. Brett Cecil keeps the visitors off the board for two innings, while A.J. Ramos tries to do the same but is pulled after loading the bases with two outs in the 9th, and Starling Marte comes through again with a walk-off single as the Marauders win 3-2.

Game 2: Jake Arrieta and Matt Harvey face off, but what looks likely to be another pitchers' duel turns into something different quickly, as the Marauders plate 3 runs against Arrieta in the 2nd and the Hares put up a pair against Harvey in the 3rd. It stays 3-2 until the 6th, when Mike Trout comes up again down a run with a man on. This time, though, Harvey walks him... and then watches him trot home as Alejandro de Aza hits a go-ahead HR instead. The Marauders get one back in the bottom of the inning to make it 5-4, where it stays until the 9th, when the Marauders get to Blazek again, tying it up and putting the winning run on third with one out. Carlos Gomez goes for home on a Cesar Hernandez chopper to second and makes it, giving the Marauders a second straight one-run walk-off win.

Game 3: Yimi Garcia versus Johnny Cueto. The Hares strike first as Trout scores on a Miguel Sano double in the first, but that was all they could manage against Garcia, who wound up pitching 7 innings of one-run ball. Meanwhile, the Marauders knotted it up at 1 on a double+balk+FC in the 4th and then went ahead in the bottom of the 7th on a triple+WP. Justin Miller was called on again and again managed to put a runner on for Trout, but this time kept him in the ballpark and closed it out as the Marauders win yet another one-run game (though not a walkoff) to sweep the series and pull into a tie with the Hares for second in the Big Train Division.

FireDogs at Glovers
Ryan Jones - June 11, 2016 08:27AM
Game 1: The Glovers jump on Anderson early, putting up six against him in 1+ innings, and then continuing to load on the runs against the bullpen. Glovers win 13-2

Game 2: The Glovers again jump on a Fire Dog starter early, scoring 7 over two innings against Harang. Dickey allows three runs over 8, to move to 10-1 on the season, in a 7-3 victory for the Glovers.

Game 3: Lackey and Quintana hold things even through 6, before Quintana allows five in the 7th, for a 6-1 Fire Dog lead. The Glovers are able to take advantage of a tired Fire Dog bullpen, however, scoring 3 in the bottom of the 7th, one in the bottom of the 8th, and then two in the bottom of the ninth on a walkoff homer from Pollock for the 7-6 Glovers win.

Canons Outlaws
Bill Liming - June 11, 2016 11:31PM
Outlaws take the book-ends in relative laughers, steal the middle game from Kershaw with the help of Earl Weaver, an early 3-run HR and good pitching (though a more LaRussian 6 RP for the final 4 innings).
