Please use the computer manager to pick lineups, and activate Kinsler after Game 1. Abreu should be demoted when Kinsler is activated.

Starters should be Strasburg, Delgado, and Morton.

Ottawa Juha Widings MP

Game 1: Travis Wood and Chris Archer both pitch well, leaving the score 2-2 after 7. Mariano Rivera throws a rare cutter that fails to cut, and PH Domonic Brown puts it over the fence to lead the Marauders to a 3-2 win.

Game 2: Homer Bailey throws 8 shutout innings, allowing only 2 hits -- which is 2 more hits than his counterpart, Miguel Gonzalez, allows over 7 innings. The Marauders get their first hit of the night in the 9th, but neither team plates a run until extra innings, when BDM jumps on Trevor Rosenthal for two quick hits and converts that into the only run they need in a 1-0 ten-inning win.

Game 3: Matt Harvey continues the trend of dominant pitching, going 7 shutout innings, but Patrick Corbin throws the first and only clunker of the series as the Marauders take the finale 6-0 to run Harvey's record to 6-0.

No injuries; Marauders MP ready for Series 16.

Hares host the Outlaws in their first matchup with the TRHL version of the 84 Tigers.

Game One: On paper this looks like a walk for the Hares as they sent ace Jose Fernandez to the mound against Jordan Lyles in his first start of the year. However, the game goes against script as Lyles matches Fernandez pitch for pitch for six innings. Unfortunately for Lyles and the Outlaws a Crawford error in the second led to an unearned run, and a walk and a double in the fifth allowed the Hares to make it 2-1. They added two more in the last third of the game while the bullpen put up blanks to win 4-1. Jose Fernandez has a 4-2 record and a 1.41 ERA.

Game Two: Johnny Cueto and Yu Darvish in a matchup of aces. Both pitch decently but neither can keep the ball in the yard. An Adam Jones HR put the Hares up 2-0 in the second but Bryce Harper came right back with a three run HR of his own. Bogusevic added a 2 run HR an inning later and the Outlaws were up 5-2. Doumit hit a solo HR in the fifth to close the lead to two. The lead stayed there until the bottom of the eighth. With Darvish still on the mound, Doumit walked then Turner flied out. Lough pinchhit for the pitcher and hit a grounder to Crawford who booted it, committed his second key error in as many games. With two runners on Siegrist came in to put out the fire. He induced Trout to ground out advancing the runners. Goldschmidt came to the plate and singled to shallow right. With the game on the line and the speedy Lough on second the third base coach challenged Harper's arm (two excellent ratings going head to head), Harper airmailed the throw and Goldschmidt advanced to third. With the game now tied, Jayson Nix cam in to pinchhit for Drew and singled home the winning run. Hares win 6-5.

Game Three: Outlaws storm out to a 6-0 lead off of Jake Arrieta. The Hares come back with five runs in the fourth and another in the fifth to tie the game and set the stage for an improbable sweep. Unfortunately it was not to be as this time it was the Hares bullpen turn to cough up the runs giving up three in the seventh. Outlaws win 9-6.

Three big wins in a row for the good guys.

Crescent Beach continues to suck, going on four years now. Maybe it's the GM.
