MPs ready for Series 19: Outlaws, FireDogs, Damage

Visiting team MP deadline is Wednesday, May 14th, 11 AM EDT. Series results are due Thursday, May 15th, 11 PM EDT.

Not content to just play 3, the Marauders and Outlaws go 18 innings in the series finale, with Marauders finally taking the game and the series when Carlos Gomez finally converted with a runner on third and <2 outs after failing twice before in extra innings...

Please use lineup 5 vs. Buchholz

Should be fine as is. Please use the computer manager to pick lineups. Starting pitchers should be Morton, Holland, and Quintana.

Please use lineup #3 against Sanabia and please use Soto at C instead of Mauer against CJ Wilson.

Hares face another season of underperformance as they lose two one-run games to the Glovers, the last one with Josh Outman facing nothing but righties for the last two innings and getting out of jams both times, striking out the depressingly mediocre Mike Trout to end the game. They are now -4 in the Pythagorean department combined with second straight blah seasons out of Trout and Wright.

Meanwhile Shin-soo Choo went 7/12 in the series with 2 doubles, 3 HR, 8 runs scored, and 4 RBI.

Oh, and Stephen Drew got hit in the face with a pitch and is out for his second extended stretch.

Ian Kinsler is out for a while too, so look for that.

Series 19 Stogies @ Terriers

Kazmir, Scherzer hold Stogies to 3 runs combined and Latos sticks around long enough to get credit for 5-4 win in Terrier sweep.

Aces win opener 7-2 behind K. Morales 4 RBI game; Pale Hose bring the thunder and score enough runs for Danks (1-4) to win his first game 9-4; Brothers gives up a run in the 9th but garners his 11th Save in a 2-1 Pale Hose victory. No injuries.

Hamilton takes 2 of 3 from Ottawa

Pitching carried the day. TBC only used 4 pitchers the entire series. MVRD only allowed 10 runs themselves.
