G1: A two-out ninth inning rally gives the Canadians a walk-off victory. Stellar pitching by both starters but Grilli blows the save. Canadians 3-2

G2: Canadians only give up four hits but walk five, two of them coming before a Scott Hairston 3-run shot in the first. That would be all of the offense for six more innings until the teams trade runs in the 7th, including a solo HR by Nelson Cruz to get the home team on the board. Desmond tacks on another homer in the 9th but the rally falls short. Isotopes 4-2

G3: The Canadians scored early to give Cain a three-run lead, and he never looked back as he retired 14 consecutive at one point and only gave up four hits and one run (Cano solo HR). Saunders and Kottaras lead the offense with 5 of the 6 RBIs for the home team, including a Kottaras 2-run shot. Lyles comes in to shut the door. Canadians 6-1

Chatwood was injured in game 2 for 15 more days.

Tight series among well matched teams (hitting wise, anyway -- neither pitching staff lights it up). Wolverines build a lead in game 1 and hang on for a 6-5 win. Wolves build another lead in game 2 but Heroes claw back to snag the victory 8-7. Heroes win game 3 9-3, but it really was closer than that -- a couple clutch hits (including a two out grand slam) are the difference, and they easily could have gone the other way.

Nut for an extra innings win in Game 1, the Dawgs were almost swept.

The Marauders are off autopilot... but still in freefall, dropping all 3 to the Clowns.

Pirates take 2.

The Breakers took the first two and hoped for a sweep to cut Maine's division lead to two, but the Pale Hose outslugged Crescent Beach in the finale.
