Series 01 has been completed.

NOTE - I'm going to try this - a 10 *AM* EDT deadline for Sunday since I'm leaving that evening. Craig is going to drone next Wednesday night. But for this series, think of it as a SATURDAY NIGHT deadline. So play your games sooner than later. If this fails spectacularly, I'll just skip the file droning on Sunday and let Craig drone on Wednesday. THANK YOU!

REMINDER - Long Term Contract deadline is the opening pitch of the first game of the real MLB 2016 regular season. Announce LTC signings either within appropriate message board thread or an e-mail to me.

Juha Widings' MP for Series 02.

Starters should be Chen, Dickey, and Quintana. Please use the computer manager to choose lineups.

Again the Caps drop two before salvaging the jetsam. WE're scoring runs but this has been some awful pitching.

Stanton has two at-bats in the series. Hits homeruns both times, including the winner in game three. Hares sweep three.

I'm redoing the RockHawks MP since their pitching is all screwed up -- they used their Game 1 starter in relief 2 days ago, their Game 2 starter just started the last game of the previous set, etc.

And because no good deed goes unpunished, the Marauders go from sweeping the misaligned RockHawks to dropping 2 of 3.

Heroes take the bookends, Mattingly pulls out the middle game. Tanaka taking a month off.

Rogers take 2 of 3.

Game 1: Rogers 11-2. Kyle Lohse with 8.1 strong innings before leaving with a minor injury. ARod with a home run for the Rogers. CSantana with a home run for the Sledgehammers.

Game 2: Rogers 8-7. Rogers take a 6-2 lead into the 7th but Hamilton gets to Greinke, forcing him from the game as 3 runs are scored. Rogers come back with a run in the bottom of the frame but in the 8th Hamilton plates two more to tie the game. Rogers win it in the bottom of the 9th. Home runs for JPerderson and Teixeira for the Rogers. A home run for CDavis and 3 hits for DGordon in the losing effort.

Game 3: Hamilton 5-2. Cole with 7.1 strong for the win. 4 more hits for Gordon and 3 steals on the bases vs 1 CS. Home runs for Blackmon and CSantana.

Rogers with a black hole at C trying to get by with innings behind the plate for Josh Hamilton and Greg Bird when it's possible to sneak them in.

* Injuries: Ervin Santana was injured for 15 days for Hamilton.

Crescent Beach opened its home schedule by dropping a 2-1 decision to Alston in ten innings, the winner coming on a sac fly by Aaron Hill. In the middle game the Breakers broke out early against Taijuan Walker, building a 9-3 lead, but had to hold on for a 9-7 victory. The closing game saw Trevor Bauer and the Breaker pen carry a 2-0 edge into the ninth only to have Sam Dyson and Ian Thomas blow the lead. Adam Jones settled matters in Crescent Beach's favor with a two-run shot in the bottom of the 12th.

MP is ready for the Rogers.
