Clowns trade Jhouyls Chacin to the Canons for Martin Prado.

Heroes trade Lance Berkman, Steve Pearce, Wilson Ramos, Al
Albuquerque, and Elian Herrera to the Limericks for Clint Barmes,
Geovany Soto, David Murphy, Kris Medlen, and Junich Tazawa.

FireDogs trade Brett Cecil to the Maruaders for Tyler Clippard.
FireDogs release Josh Thole.

FireDogs trade Eric Sogard to the Canons for Michael Fiers.

Canons sign Shane Robinson, Sandy Rosario, Todd Redmond, and Endy
Chavez, release Darin Downs, Brandon Lyon, Eric Thames, and Wilson
Betemit. Hares also submitted a claim of $1 for Robinson, but Canons
have the worse record.

Stogies sign Ryan Webb.

Heroes sign Lou Marson, release Chien-Ming Wang.

MPs ready for Series 36: Clowns

Visiting team MP deadline is Friday, July 19th, 11 PM EDT. Series
results are due Sunday, July 21st, 11 PM EDT.

Firedogs MP is ready for Series 37.

Rotation should be set.

Use the road lineups with the following additions:

Against Cahill put Heisey in for Markakis
Against Rodriguez and Lester put Pierzysnki in for Treanor.

Blue Jays-Canadians, well-pitched series and close in each game.

Here's how it all went down...

G1: Martin hits a 3-run homer, his 20th, and Sale strikes out 10 over 7 innings while allowing only one run. Perez picks up 20th save. Canadians 4-1

G2: 7.2 innings of 5-hit shutout ball from Zimmermann. Hosmer homers early to give Canadians a 1-0 lead. 1-0 Canadians going to the 9th; Belisario blows a save on back-to-back hit batters. Extras at PNC, the Blue Jays string some hits together in the 10th off of Howell to score twice and have Breslow pick up his 23rd save. Blue Jays 3-1 (10)

G3: The rubber match features a pair of lefties, Zito and Maholm. The Blue Jays score once in each of the first two innings. Canadians answer in the second with one of their own and trail 2-1. They later tie it in the 4th on a Donaldson sac fly. The Canadians are able to put a few more hits together in the 5th to score two more and to give Maholm a well-earned 5th win, Perez 21st save. Canadians 4-2

No injuries

Heroes take the first two. Pale Hose storm to 7-1 lead in game 3, but Heroes claw back to tie in the 8th. Carlos Gomez throws out the would-be winning run at the plate in the 9th, and the Hose score twice in the 10th to win.

Wolverines take 3 from Sledgehammers

Game 1: Holland pitches 8 strong innings, Maybin hits a 3 run homer, and the Glovers win 9-1

Game 2: The Pirates jump on Strasburg, and the Glovers can't hit Sanchez. 5-1 for the Pirates

Game 3: Same as the last game, except with Delgado and Liriano. 5-1 for the Pirates.

Outlaws come-back magic fails to get the job done, and the injury bug bites, as the Indians take 2.

I hate this team so effing much, I hope they all die in a fiery car crash.

They couldn't get a clutch hit if my dead grandmother was pitching.
