Game 1 Canons take 7 runs from Wainwright in 3.1 innings and score another 3 runs to end up comfortable winners despite Hand giving up 3 runs in the 8th.

Game 2 Canons take an early 3-0 lead only for the Indians to even things up through 8.5 innings. Bottom of the ninth with a lefty pitching, Beckham comes out to pinch hit for Lowrie and hits a double. Aware of his magic touch, the manager replaces Corporan with Ruggiano who brings Beckham home with a single. Pinch hitting rarely works so well!

Game 3 and its Kershaw vs Price, both unbeaten. And both give up a run in the first innings. Canons edge ahead in the 3rd and double their lead in the 6th. Top of the ninth, runners on 2nd and 3rd and Duke is pitching to Everth Cabrera who has been sent in to pinch hit for Warren.

A very enjoyable series certainly from the home point of view which the Canons were lucky (and did well) to sweep.
