Series 00 has been completed. League file attached (once league files
become too large, I'll stop attaching them and you'll have to use the

MPs ready for Series 01: Presuming all teams except for four listed above.

Again, some rules of game play:
1. Do not play a series as the home team without first receiving a
season start MP from the visiting team owner. After Series 01, please
e-mail visiting owner if MP not listed as ready.
2. Always check the opposing team's rotation; pitchers should not
start tired unless stated otherwise by manager.
3. Honor system here; do not restart games once they've started unless
there is an obvious mistake discovered immediately upon starting
(e.g., see #2 above, you accidentally let a tired pitcher start for
opposing team)
4. You must have 25 active players at all time. No more. No less.

Visiting team MP deadline is Tuesday, March 15th, Noon EDT. Series
results are due Wednesday, March 16th, 10:00 PM EDT. Deadline after
that will be Sunday, March 20th, NOON EDT (because I'm leaving Sunday
night).

The Hose season starts strongly -- and then fizzles. In the opener Gallardo (1-0) and Hernandez combine to pitch a 2 hit shutout 7-0 beating Greinke (0-1) who suffered a rare off game. Rogers came back to win 4-3 scoring the winner in the 7th inning and making a winner out of Papelbon (1-0) who pitched for an unusual 4 innings while Niese (0-1) took the loss. Jimenez (1-0) and the Rogers simply spanked Ventura (0-1) and the Hose 5-1. No injuries.

We're good to go. Actual shreds of hope on the island.

How do I stop the computer manager from throwing short relievers for 4 innings?

G1 deGrom 2 hit SO as Terriers cruise to 6-0 win game one.

G2 Kazmir for Terriers and Liriano for Sledgehammers lock up in duel, both leaving late in game with tie 1-1.
Sledgehammers break tie in 13th on Blackemon's 2 run jack, but Sandoval matches it in Terrier half, Sledgehammer again goes ahead in 16th as Chris Davis leads off taking first pitch deep. But again, Terriers respond, loading bases with 0 outs. Tie on Hill's sac fly but game goes on,,,until 19th when Grinchuk singles in winner for Allston.5-4

G3 Salazar goes distance for Sledgehammer allowing 2 runs on 3 hits while visitors hammer Sherzerer for 11-2 Hamilton win.

The CM is a moron, but not typically that bad. In your case, I'd start by setting up profiles for the relievers, which you apparently don't have. Which is also probably why Carrasco threw in relief in the first game when he was scheduled to start the 2nd.

Starters should be Dickey, Quintana, and Colome. Please use the computer manager for selecting lineups.

Also, while I'm making requests, please let me win at least two of three.

Hares win the first two games going away. In the third, with the Hares behind 5-1 and Giancarlo Stanton on the bench for a maintenance day, they bring him in to pinch-hit with the bases loaded. He promptly hits a grand slam to tie the game.

It is all for naught however, as the bullpen gives the lead right back in its first meaningful innings of the year.

In another note, I ran a sim without playing time restrictions and Stanton hit 72 HR. Yowza! Two so far.

I ran one where Bumgarner hit 14 in 103 PA (and had like 30 RBI), without restricting the opposition pitching for PT limits. He may need to hit in the 6 or 7 hole some of the time for me.

Widings sweep but lose Anibal Sanchez for 45 days.

In other news, Widings' GM Stan Barkun is rumoured to be looking for innings.

The Whitecaps choked away both of the first two in this series before taking a blowout in the third game. Breakers win the series 2-1. Brutal stuff from the 'Caps pen.
