Visiting team MP deadline is Saturday, October 8th, 10 AM EDT. Series results are due Sunday, October 9th, 10 PM EDT.

Really weird series. BDM takes 2 of 3

G1: Colby Lewis Hits FOUR BDM batters, including 3 consecutive in the 2nd. Mattingly fails to score in that inning, and fails to retaliate, but comes back to win 7-4 behind HRs from Machado and Trumbo. We also had a 79 minute rain delay.

G2: BDM turns 5 DPs (4 by Wilson) to hold Havana to 3 runs, despite 11 hits. But BDM can't score at all. Daniel Hudson and Frankie Rodriguez combine for the 2 hit shutout. Havana 3-0.

G3: BDM breaks out, using 4 HR to score 14, and wins 14-0. Luis Valbuena hits his 40th HR, having taken full advantage of the Yankees Stadium short porch.

Outlaws take 6-4 lead into 9th in game 1 and stretch their lead to 3 when Crawford doubles to score Cain. Eaton's homer is worth 2 rather than 1 because of a Donaldson error. The game ends when a Pujols single brings Brantley and Arenado to the plate to make the home fans cheer.

Game 2 is another close one going into extra innings tied at 4. Albert again - this time a solo in the 11th, 41 for the year.

Game 3, the Outlaws score 5 in the 4th and Canons dont reply until the 8th when a Brett Wallace homer scores 3. 9th inning, Simmons walks and Albert appears as a pinch hitter to do his magic once more. This time he grounds out and the next two batters follow.

Canons end up on 99 - missing out on the century and the postseason. Outlaws win an impressive 114 with a .704 record.

Hares sweep the season ending series. Hares finish with 109 wins despite a -11 Pythagorean mark.

Arrieta finishes with 29 wins.
