Hares win two of three. Bench clearing brawl in game two. Relief pitcher Tommy Kahnle, who set off the brawl by hitting Miguel Montero with a pitch, injured for an eternity (actually 48 days). Suspension for Montero pending.

Crazy Series.

Heroes win G1 20-1, BDM returns the favor 14-4 in G2, and BDM takes the rubber match 7-4.

Teams combine for 16 HRs, including 2 more by Springer in G2

Sledgehammers visit Allston.

Allston survives blown 9th inning save by Mendez to prevail in 13, on Pearce walk off HR 9-8
Fister goes the distance in 3-0 Allston win in game two. Wong and Pearce HRs account for the scoring.
deGrom pitches scoresless ball into 8th and Otero gets last five outs for another 3-0 Allston win. Pearce two run double caps the only scoring in 5th.

The Hose hang on to win the first two 5-4 and 7-6 (and by hang on I mean the men from Halifax scored 6 runs in the 8th and 9th innings) before getting trounced 5-1 in the finale. In the last game Kintzler pitched 1/3 of an inning giving up 4 hits and 4 earned runs - ironically he was just released in real life as well.
