MPs ready for Series 11: HawkRocks, Clowns

Series 11 league file is attached and has been posted and the League File link on the website has been updated. Here's the link:

Games Dates: May 7th-9th. Halos are home; Rogers are not.

Visiting team MP deadline is Friday, May 12th, 11 PM EDT. Series results are due Sunday, May 14th, 11 PM EDT.

Hoping to end the Clowns' streak, the Canons take a lead of 3-2 into the 7th. Morin walks two then the panicky manager brings in Will Harris to steady the ship and he strikes out Votto. Then Justin Turner reminds us of the league we are in to give the Clowns a 5-3 lead which they hold to extend their winning run.

Next game is a tight one with a run each in the sixth and a run in the 7th for the Canons to finally end the Clowns' streak at 11.

Third game is another close one with the Clowns going up 2-0 top of the third and the Canons scoring 4 in the bottom of the inning. Clowns pull one back and then equalize, but the Padres combine for Corpus when Jankowski's single scores Solarte from third to win the series.

MP is fine.

Very well pitched series between the division leaders. BDM deals Halifax 3 tough losses, 3-1, 3-2, 2-1.

Portland wins the first one 2-1. Rogers wins an 18-3 nail biter, eking out 17 runs in 5 innings off Clay Buchholz to win game 2. Portland wins the rubber game 4-0 behind Christ Sale.

Rotisserie sweeps, to put us on a nice 6 game winning streak. Game One took ten and finished 4-3, Game Two was 5-3, and a late big inning made Game Three more lopsided, at 9-3 or something.
