REMINDER - Long Term Contract deadline is the opening pitch of the first game of the real MLB 2014 regular season. Announce LTC signings either within appropriate message board thread or an e-mail to me.

REMINDER - When you post your results and if you're on the road next series AND your MP is ready to go, please state as such in the message with the attached results so I can note down below that your MP is ready.

MP Issues:
1. Hawks didn't submit results AND didn't have season start MP. Uh-oh. I quickly set an MP for Hawks.

2. Pale Hose rotation usage set to TIME. That will FUBAR your rotation. I set it to strict.

3. Thunder Bay Damage MP does not have any Saved Lineups set. Could be hazardous when on the road.

4. Stogies have incomplete Saved Lineups set. Again, hazardous AND 35 players on active roster. Goodness gracious. Fixed, though I didn't spend too much time on it.

MPs ready for Series 02: Sledgehammers, Aces

Visiting team MP deadline is Friday, March 14th, 11 PM EDT. Series results are due Sunday, March 16th, 11 PM EDT.

The opener featured four homers by each team, with Dexter Fowler's solo blast in the eighth breaking an 8-8 tie and earning the win for the Breakers. Hamilton pitching dominated the rest of the series. Ryan Dempster struck out 11 and combined with three relievers for a 2-0 shutout, then Ervin Santana outdueled Ricky Nolasco 2-1.

Six games into the season, Crescent Beach has two players on the DL. The Breaker MP is ready for the Hawks.

Terriers get strong start at home against visiting Hamilton County Hawks.

Ramos puts Alston on board in bottom 4th with a TRH and Jaime Garcia doesn't need more going the distance giving up 2 runs on 5 hit as Terriers prevail 6-2.

Game two it's Hawk's turn to get on board first with (you guessed it) Mc Louth's TRH in 2nd off Scott Kazmir. Scott settles down to hold line through 7 as Terriers edge back into on single runs in 3rd 5th and 7th off James McDonald. Bullpens take it to extra innings where Hunter ends it with walk off HR for 5-2 Terrier win.

In the series ender, it's Bumgarner vs Scherzer. Bumgarner touched in first for 3 runs with RBI doubles from Cuddyer and Chavez, all that Scherzer was going to need as he faces just 30 batters in 3 hit SHO 10Ks, 0 BB in Alston 5-0 win.

MP ready for next

BDM takes 2 of 3. Headley injured for 20 games.

Aces take the first, Heroes the last two.

Pale hose leave 11 runners stranded dropping opener 4-2; Gordon goes yard twice in 4 for 5 performance leading the Hose to a 12-5 victory; Shaw and Reed hold the lead for Ryu (2-0) in close 5-4 win.

Outlaws continue to roll with another sweep. Outlaws LHB are looking forward to eventually seeing a RH SP, though it looks like that could be another series away.

Havana-Ottawa, Series 2

G1: 2-2 after 6, but Northcoast's pen proves superior to Thunder Bay's as Pirates pound out 5 singles (and 4 runs) in the 7th. Meanwhile Hochevar is untouchable over 3 frames. NCP 7 TBC 2.

G2: Erasmo Ramirez pitched lights out for 7IP and things looked bleak for the Chinook going into the 9th down 2-1, but w/ one out in the 9th Holliday doubled and his pinch runner Gregorius came around to score one batter later on a Chris Johnson single. TBC completed the comeback in the 10th w/ a clutch two-out RBI single from Yadi Molina. TBC 3 NCP 2.

G3: Another well-pitched game, but Chinook got two run homers from two of our Matts (Joyce and Adams) to back Felix Hernandez. TBC 4 NCP 2.

Glovers take the first in a blowout, win the second in a close one, and drop the third.
