Caps take three, winning 7-4, 5-3, 11-3. Miggy temporarily wrests back the lead in HR, runs and RBI.

Our MP is ready for series 49.

Pirates take 2 of 3.

Firedogs MP is ready for Series 49

Homer Bailey's 2-hit shutout caps a sweep as the Marauders continue their late surge. Hopefully we have enough warm bodies to finish the season, though, as Shelby Miller joined the banged-up list in the process.

Clowns win two of three as Hares continue to scuffle down the stretch.

Looks like there will be a decent three team race for the two wildcard spots.

Canons score a run in the 8th and 9th to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the Darvish Kershaw duel, but miss out on the winning run when Koyie Hill blocks the plate to prevent Brantley scoring. Bad news for Outlaws is that Hill picks up an injury that keeps him out for the rest of the season but he should be back for the postseason should the Outlaws qualify. To Hill's chagrin, Canons score the winning run in the tenth anyway.

Game 2, a close game becomes an easy Outlaw win as they score 4 in the 8th to extend their winning lead to 8-3.

Game 3, Canon hitters find some form scoring 9 runs in the first four innings. However they lose their starter after just one out, but Redmond, Doubront and Niese combine to shut out the Outlaws for a 9-0 win over the division leaders.
